Runners

Hi everyone! It's been a quite long time since the last time I posted my blog. The truth is I have no time to write because my schedule for 6th year is so tight, even I forgot to see my dentist for regular braces check up, already 2 days past. Sigh, God bless me.

Luckily, the subjects for this year are quite fun, which are surgery, obstetric and gynecology plus two Islamic subjects, Aqidah and Sirah. I love surgery! It makes me feel like I am the true doctor. I want to be a surgeon so bad when I was in my first year, but then,  after thinking deeply, I better choose to be a dermatologist rather than to be a surgeon because it is easier and less risk? bolehlaa, either way, I really want to be a specialist one day, Ameen.

For the past 1 week of my new semester, my regular routine workout has been a yoga and also an ABS workout. I do it like once in every 2 days because I have a lot of things to be settled down, like visa and stuff. Plus, my class started at 7.30 freaking a.m. until 3 p.m. with no gap in between and Friday is the only free day that I have. Phewww, I want sushi.

So, since I have a very limited time to do workout for this year, I try to find an easy routine and finally I found this which is the combination of yoga and pilates with a few minutes of full body stretching! click this. It is so relaxing and easy, you guys should try this too. Especially for those who's having a back pain and stressful lifestyle like students and doctors. Lol, just kidding.

This morning I joined Cairo's runners event which be held in Zamalek, which is the weekly event for every Friday morning. Since Friday is my 'sleep day' so usually I didnt join this event, but this morning I have the urge to do cardio (jogging) because I had left my cardio routine for more than 1 week. They named it as ' We Run Cairo' and today's their second anniversaries, so they made a theme of 'color run' for celebration. All of the candidates are fit and looks healthy including the elders, hands down. Apparently this is my first time to join this kind of event and it was a precious new experience for me because it was so fun, really!

Those are some pictures of  my friends and I after the running.

..and this is me with Dr. Mohamed Sawwy. Founder of  Sawwy's Culture Wheel, the place where they've been held this event for every weeks. He's so fit guys because of the first 2 km I ran closely behind him and then of course he left me because he's too fast while I am too pancit (exhausted) to run as fast as him.
 Sigh, shame on you Ameera.

Until next time!
