Pillow talk time !

My colleague  met me a few months ago and updated me about her diet routines. She told me she sweats way way to much to stay consistent since she needs to lose weight, serious talk.

I feel you, dear. Nothing in this world is easy, maybe farting is easy, you can involuntarily do it while sleeping ! Banter !

I hastily revealed, healthy lifestyle as workouts and exercises are not built in a day duration or even a week. It took weeks or even months. At least 21 days.  Indeed, to make changes in life is pretty difficult, especially for those who have this habit of eating sugary foods, fast food and stuff. I know the hardest part is to leave the habits of eating sweet foods because it's addictive. Really.

The main point now is you, yourself. How are you coping your own self to keep avoiding crap foods and keep going with the healthy lifestyle. Change it slowly, try not to be too strict. Do not change something that you've been doing since almost 20 years ago in a week or even a month. So, slowly make changes. Better late than never !  It's pretty hard right? Well spoiler alert guys! *drum roll... WELL ITS NEVER IS! It's call mind-set. Everything is possible, only you can decide whether to make it happen or not.

Sincerely,  It's a wonderful feeling when people personally meet you for advices. After all these days, she came to me just to grasp some motivating words and spirits. I feel her,its much much harder to lose weights especially when you are in a obese state. Now she's losing weight, progressively. True story. Blimey, I'm ecstatic !

Every day try to stand in front of the mirror and say to yourself that you can do it. Those bogging weights shall be gotten rid of  by hook or by crook because nowadays, people crave to be healthy and to be comfortable in their own body is top flight priority. I'm helping those who want to lose weight and be confident about their self, bearing in mind that everyone is beautiful. God made you almost perfect. It's up to you to take care of your body or to destroy it. To be healthy is to appreciate yourself. Don't ruin it by sinister bollocks like 'what so called in trend hipster' alcohol or drugs. Love yourself, eat healthy and be happy with life.
I keep my chin up every day loudly whispering to myself that I am the luckiest girl on earth (even though I have a lot lot lot of things to be done like assignments, reports and stuff). Nah, I don't think that it's a problem for me because I enjoy doing it.

“There is one other reason for dressing well, namely that dogs respect it, and will not attack you in good clothes.” – Ralph Waldo Emerson.

and you may never dress well if those weights aren't gone. No?

Failing to finish what you start.

 Have a good day guys ! x

Dreaming Outloud.

Do you ever have this kind of feeling that you want it so bad you can't do anything (even eat or  study) but thinking about it all day long? That's my problem now. I love fitness, I do it almost everyday but I have this one passion, strong one, even stronger than my true love towards fitness, **cewahh which is to be a businesswoman. I'm swear to god if I didn't go into medical field I'll take business or something like business field, financial and stuff, well, I don't know much.

The point is I want to be a businesswoman so freaking bad I don't know why. Maybe since I were in the secondary school I've involved a lot in jualan mingguan, sold everything from the persatuan and stuff. Maybe? I don't know where this spirit came from. I read books about business thingy, articles and a lot of experiences from the businessman/woman and entrepreneurs on earth that makes me really want to be like them. So bad.
I just can't get over this, not yet.

So, I need to get back to the reality, I am a student, still. I have to focus hard on my study. The worst part is I have an exam soon, really soon I didn't study anything, yet (cekik myself). Sorry mom if you read this, sometimes I've been so lazy I could sleep all day long until my friend will trying to wake me up and said meera are you died?

Indeed, you can dream anything guys, even you can dream to be a prime minister one day, it's not wrong, AT ALL. But for this moment I have a bigger 'task' to finish first which is study and pass this medical course *yawn*
Dont get me wrong, I loveeeee to be a doctor but you know, there's bitch in me that keep telling me that to be a businesswoman is more fancy than to be a doctor, LOL.

Thanks guys for reading, and now I'm relieved.
:)

Hello again !

It's been a quite long time I didn't post anything in my blog, being a 6th years medical student is quite challenging for me, no time to do this and that, especially to update my blog and be like a normal blogger, writing about their daily activities, hobbies and stuff. A thousand sorry for that!

A lot things I want to update actually, one of the most fun part is workout of the year ! It's easy peasy guys and I'm promise it's work ! Particularly on me, hopefully it's work on you too ! click here ! Yeah it's yoga, for loosing weight. I really sweat like a pig when I do this routine *fats crying yayy*. It also make me feel refreshing and brings me some kind of positive vibes, really. I do this routine 2 to 3 times per week. It is more than enough and the most important thing is I love doing it so much.

The next thing is about my winter breaks last month. I went to Netherlands and Belgium, for a week. It was magnificently fun and I couldn't describe it even more. Here is some pictures of my friends and I along our trip, enjoy !

Amsterdam

Belgium.

I fall in love with these countries and I'll come again later, InsyaAllah.
Love, Meera, Miza, Mia and Esan.

Beauty and the Beast

Hello folks! its been a while right? I cant exactly brain what happened to me but the minute I finished my exam yet I find myself waking up early again for class! All hail med school ! Anyway glad the storm of non stop exam has passed. Have all the reasons the smile again cause I can literally pin myself to those beloved routines. Ahh the good days!

Everyone knows the story, its the story where we were put to sleep. The story of the unimaginable irony where an ugly dude gets to hang out with the beauty pigeon. Even better they got married. I wont tell the story twice. Its only the idea that we need. How do you create the version of beauty from your 'beast' version or monster shall I say? blimey!

The journey isn't that easy. It literally takes everything. Times, sweat, sleep, comfy couch, chocolate molten lava ice cream, red velvet cupcakes damn it. However guys, you can still have a pleasant life. It just requires effort, some research and hell yeah commitment. Let me show you the beast version of me so all of you ladies and gents actually know that I mean serious business.

1st year wasn't so memorable innit

The ugly truth is in fact our modern society only accepts beauty unfortunately. So, its more likely I say CHANGE and UPDATE yourself. When? NOW. Don't wait for the condition to get tiny miny better cause it wont. Get off the couch and run. I did and I'm not stopping anytime soon cause I'm enjoying every bits of it. Halting will only invite nightmares.

Once you have the gut, go with it. Yes it takes time but trust me your 'beauty' version will stroll around confidently mind- blowing people. Yes, you are smoking hot now. Beauties cannot be afraid to separate themselves from the crowd. The effort they put into living the best life they can comes with a reward that many others will never receive: The accomplishment of that goal.
Start and inspire! xx

3rd year!

Runners

Hi everyone! It's been a quite long time since the last time I posted my blog. The truth is I have no time to write because my schedule for 6th year is so tight, even I forgot to see my dentist for regular braces check up, already 2 days past. Sigh, God bless me.

Luckily, the subjects for this year are quite fun, which are surgery, obstetric and gynecology plus two Islamic subjects, Aqidah and Sirah. I love surgery! It makes me feel like I am the true doctor. I want to be a surgeon so bad when I was in my first year, but then,  after thinking deeply, I better choose to be a dermatologist rather than to be a surgeon because it is easier and less risk? bolehlaa, either way, I really want to be a specialist one day, Ameen.

For the past 1 week of my new semester, my regular routine workout has been a yoga and also an ABS workout. I do it like once in every 2 days because I have a lot of things to be settled down, like visa and stuff. Plus, my class started at 7.30 freaking a.m. until 3 p.m. with no gap in between and Friday is the only free day that I have. Phewww, I want sushi.

So, since I have a very limited time to do workout for this year, I try to find an easy routine and finally I found this which is the combination of yoga and pilates with a few minutes of full body stretching! click this. It is so relaxing and easy, you guys should try this too. Especially for those who's having a back pain and stressful lifestyle like students and doctors. Lol, just kidding.

This morning I joined Cairo's runners event which be held in Zamalek, which is the weekly event for every Friday morning. Since Friday is my 'sleep day' so usually I didnt join this event, but this morning I have the urge to do cardio (jogging) because I had left my cardio routine for more than 1 week. They named it as ' We Run Cairo' and today's their second anniversaries, so they made a theme of 'color run' for celebration. All of the candidates are fit and looks healthy including the elders, hands down. Apparently this is my first time to join this kind of event and it was a precious new experience for me because it was so fun, really!

Those are some pictures of  my friends and I after the running.

..and this is me with Dr. Mohamed Sawwy. Founder of  Sawwy's Culture Wheel, the place where they've been held this event for every weeks. He's so fit guys because of the first 2 km I ran closely behind him and then of course he left me because he's too fast while I am too pancit (exhausted) to run as fast as him.
 Sigh, shame on you Ameera.

Until next time!

That tiny lil' fear..

When I woke up this morning, out of the blue, I got a text message from my close friend, she's thin and tall. She asked me about a very common question that people always asked me, it's about eating habits. This is some of the common questions that I always been asked :

How to control your eating habits?
How could you survive by not eating at night? Some of my friends told me that they're the hungriest person ever at night.
How do you control your sugar crave?
How do you not to love foods Ameera? I love food guys, I am human remember?
How do you keep your spirits high and routinely do workout?

First and foremost, I didn't expect I will get a question from thin person like her, but you know women nowadays eager to look thin and when it comes to 1 additional kg, it does mean that we need to do something about this 1 kg of weight. Sounds crazy, but that's really happening to women nowadays, most of us I believe. I think that fear is good. Most of the fat people didn't have this kind of fear, that's why.

So I told my friend that I eat right. When I said I eat right, it means I eat healthy food, in the right time, in the right amount, in the right portion and by using the right hand. Okay the last one is not the necessary tips, but as Muslims we use right hand to eat, it's Sunnah! By the right amount I mean is, I eat in small portion like 3/4 of the medium sized plate and I will stop eating immediately when I am full.

Then I explained about the foods I eat, basically I eat a lot of fruits and veggies, not a lot like two or three times per day, it's like a lot A LOT LOT (1 kg of oranges I can finish in 2 days, and like 1 kg of bananas I can finish them like two or three days with eating an apple every day) So some people asked me about snacks I took daily, then simply I answer, fruits.

I eat rice like almost every day, I am Asian so rice is our staple food. Asian can't live without rice, but I didn't eat rice at night. It means after 7 to 8 p.m. When I am hungry, I preferred to eat fruits, crackers, whole gained bread or just drink a glass of milk. It makes you feel not hungry, but not full. Better than starving. At least you didn't die right? Okay, joking.

Yes, undeniably, at the beginning you will feel that you're going to die starving at night, but trust me, after 21 days it will become your habit. Yeah, quite long, but the benefits are worth for a lifetime. Hold your horses guys, trust me, it does work. Your mind will get used to it and your mind will tell your stomach that you are not hungry and no food needed at this moment.

Next, I told her about not eating sugary food every day, it is so dangerous since sugar can lead to cancer, diabetes mellitus, or even obesity. Sugar is the major problem to most of us since every food that have a lot of sugar in it like cakes, apam balik, cendol, strawberry milkshake are finger-lickin good right? Hands down.

It is hard to avoid eating sugar Ameera do you understand me? Yes, I do.

I have this one friend that having a sweet tooth like almost every single day, she's fat. So I advise her to stop eating sugary food and she loses almost 10 kg guys within 3 months, trust me. Once you make it as your routine, it will become your habit. Try to avoid sugar, not totally stop eating it, but slowly reducing your amount of consumption is more than enough.

The next thing I tell her about the workout, for sure. She used to jog almost every day when she is studying in University, but now she has finished her studies and she has no time to jogging like she used to do. So that's the major factor too, not doing exercises. So I advise her to do a cardio workout at home, not too long just 15 minutes is more than enough, I always do this workout guys, check this out https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-HJcmTCKGqY  . This is an intense cardio workout yet so effective. Every time I did this workout I will perspiring a lot. It means that it does work! For those who are so busy with works, studies and stuff, try to do the short, intense workout it helps to lose weight, for sure, to increase metabolism, to make you sweat and it makes you feel overbold! Especially for those who are always feel jaded like all the time, yes, this is the answer.

That's it! Nothing is going overboard, everything is so basic and super easy. It depends on you whether you want to do it or not. Hopefully this very humble tippytoes of mine are helpful for my friend and for all of my readers too! Thanks for reading until the end :)

Oh by the way, today I didn't do any workout because I have to finalise my visa for this year a.k.a my final year. I get so excited, can't wait to finish my studies. Now I need a very deep sleep for my routine workout tomorrow and for a better day! hehe. Life is so amazing when we do not have any commitment in it, like to study every day, to go to work or to settle some assignments and the topper is when you're on holiday! It feels like AHHHHHHHH...

This picture was taken when I'm in Rome. This place is so amazing, it is called  The Circus Maximus.  I miss Rome so bad.

Only God knows how much I love the holiday! Until next time!
